March is peak maple season in New England and several of our local dairy farmers are also maple syrup producers. We love maple and dairy pairings. Try this Maple Butter recipe.
Instructions
- Let 1 stick unsalted butter sit at room temperature until softened.
- Combine butter, maple syrup, salt, and other spices in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until well blended and fluffy. Cutting the butter into smaller chunks can be helpful for mixing. If you do not have an electric mixer, beat with a whisk until blended and fluffy.
- Serve soft or chilled with toast, pancakes, hot biscuits, waffles, etc. Enjoy!
