Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

  1. In a large saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until bubbles form around sides of pan.
  2. Whisk chocolate into milk until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in extract.
  4. Pour into mugs; top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with remaining candy and, if desired, marshmallows.
  5. Serve immediately.
For Flavored Whipped Cream
  1. In a small bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Fold in 1 teaspoon crushed candy.
