Gingerbread Latte

Get festive with this simple gingerbread latte that only takes minutes to whip up and is an excellent source of calcium and protein. Follow the milk instruction for a coffee-free option that all can enjoy without the added caffeine for any time of the day. This recipes pairs nicely at breakfast with our classic eggnog French toast.

Latte Instructions

  1. Whisk together espresso, spices, and molasses. Divide between two mugs.
  2. Heat milk in saucepan over medium-low until it’s simmering, not boiling.
  3. Once milk is heated, divide it between the two mugs already containing the espresso, spices, and molasses. If you have a hand-held frother, froth the beverage before serving.
  4. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon for extra flavor.

Milk Instructions

  1.  Mix together all of your spices and molasses into a cup of milk.
  2. Warm the beverage on the stove or in the microwave. Use a hand-held frother to make the Gingerbread milk foamy. If a frother isn’t available, give it a shake in a jar for a similar consistency.
  3. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon for extra flavor.
