
As a member of the New England Dairy Team since 2007, Jane’s current role as Senior Nutrition Specialist allows her to work with large school districts in Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts to increase students’ access to healthy school meals. In addition to working with schools, she is also actively involved with the Rhode Island Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics as the Chair of the Nominating Committee.
In addition to her programmatic work, Jane contributes to New England Dairy’s communications efforts by creating engaging social media content and blog posts. She enjoys translating complex nutrition topics into clear, practical messages that highlight the role of dairy in healthy eating patterns and uplift the stories of schools, students, and educators across the region. Her content strengthens community connections and broadens awareness of the impactful work happening in New England schools.
Jane received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Gettysburg College and her Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Connecticut
In her free time, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and two secondary-level school-aged children, either playing at a nearby Rhode Island beach or going for a hike.
