Events & Activities:
Connecticut:
- ALL SEASON (Fridays-Sundays): Visit some of this year’s Adopt a Cow calves at Mountain Dairy’s new creamery in Mansfield, CT.
Massachusetts:
- ALL SEASON: Seasonal events and activities for kids and adults at Appleton Farms in Ipswich.
- November 28th – December 28th: Holiday Light Stroll at McCray’s Farm in South Hadley. Walk the farm and experience a one-of-a-kind lightshow.
- December 6th: Christmas on the Farm event at Whittier Farms in Sutton. Enjoy samples, browse Christmas gift boxes, visit with ponies and calves, take a wagon ride on the farm, and more.
- December 8th: Christmas on the Farm event at Elmhurst Dairy Farm in Millbury, MA. In conjunction with the Millbury Chain of Lights! Visit with the cows and enjoy other festive activities.
New Hampshire:
- ALL SEASON: Seasonal events and activities for kids and adults at Stonewall Farm in Keene.
- Weekends from November 29th – December 14th: Christmas with the Cows at Brookford Farm in Canterbury. Sing holiday classics with the cows at this family-friendly event. Peruse the German Christmas market featuring local vendors, and explore the farm store stocked with specialty items and gifts.
- December 6th: Victorian Christmas & Horse Drawn Carriage Rides at The New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton.
Vermont:
- ALL SEASON: Seasonal events and activities for kids and adults at Billings Farm in Woodstock.
- December 12th: Annual Holiday Tractor Parade in St. Albans. Learn more about how farmers come together to spread holiday cheer with this beloved tradition.
- December 13th: Riverview Dairy’s Annual Christmas Drive Thru in Franklin. The farm will be lit with holiday lights and music for their annual holiday donation drive. Canned and non-perishable foods will be donated to Enosburg Food Shelf, where there is an especially high need this year, and all new toys will be donated to local causes and UVM/NMC pediatric departments.
