Plant-Based Diets for Children: Potential Promises & Pitfalls

Nutrition is essential to a child’s growth, neurocognitive and psychomotor development making a nutrient-rich diet of paramount importance. In this presentation, attendees will learn about the current research in plant-based pediatric nutrition, the nutrient considerations for a balanced and plant-rich diet, and practical ways to encourage children to eat more plants.
