Diane Krol, RD has been a Nutrition Specialist at New England Dairy & Food Council (NEDFC) for the past 19 years where she is a spokesperson in the Springfield market. As a local spokesperson on current nutrition topics, she has been a frequent guest on radio stations WGGB and WWLP over the years and a resource to WGGB-TV.

Diane is responsible for implementing nutrition education programs in area schools and local health education organizations, providing nutrition resources for health professionals, and executing local campaigns to increase the visibility of New England dairy foods. She is currently responsible for maintaining and updating NEDFC's website, www.NewEnglandDairyCouncil.org.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Syracuse University. She is currently a member of the American Dietetic Association, the Western Massachusetts Dietetic Association and Massachusetts Action for Healthy Kids. In recent years she held the position of Chairperson of the CT Plunkett Elementary School Nutrition Committee.

As a registered dietitian and mother of two young children, Diane believes in communicating practical dietary advice based on credible nutrition and scientific recommendations.
