Rochelle is responsible for collaborating with NEDFC nutrition staff to communicate current nutrition science and innovative nutrition and education programs taking place within New England schools and health organizations via the media. Rochelle also manages breaking and opportunistic nutrition news and assists in all aspects of the communication/PR department.

Rochelle's training in nutrition, business, and information technology provides her with a unique perspective and enables her to work successfully with the media to communicate nutrition messages to a diverse audience.

Before joining NEDFC, Rochelle worked on a PBS special, Family Recipe Rescue, casting dietitians and script development. She also worked with the National Agricultural Library Food and Nutrition Information Center to disseminate nutrition information to the elderly via the internet.

Rochelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics with a minor in Management from Brigham Young University and completed her dietetic internship with the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Massachusetts Dietetic Association.
